John Fowler: Straight Sword / Fan / Bagua

Knowle Village hall: John Fowler will be teaching either the Tai Chi Straight Sword, Tai Chi Fan Form or Bagua Form. I suggest we focus on 2 forms only, please let me know if you have a preference. We will run the first session from 9:00 am – 10:50 am and the second session from 11:10 am – 1:00 pm.
I have some smaller imitation swords which people can borrow, to represent a straight sword. Ultimately if you would like to learn a Sword form, then purchasing one will be a good long term investment. I can advise where to look for a sword.
You can buy a fairly decent large fan for £11.00, if you are interested let me know and I will send you a link.
The Bagua Form is something I will be focussing on this year. I think we could learn parts 1 and 2 in the workshop, if not more, in the time. It is the 64 Hands of Bagua Zhang, techniques from Liu Dekuan. I can send you a link to a video if you are interested, it looks amazing!!
Cost £22.00 per session if paid before February 10th or £25.00 after.
